International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC)
Iowa Board of Certification is a proud member of IC&RC, which protects the public by establishing standards and facilitating reciprocity for the credentialing of addiction-related professionals. The largest organization of its kind, IC&RC represents more than 40,000 professionals worldwide.
Addiction Technology Transfer Centers (ATTC)
The ATTC is a nationwide, multidisciplinary resource for professionals in the addictions treatment and recovery services field. The ATTC Network is comprised of 10 Regional Centers, 4 National Focus Area Centers, and a Network Coordinating Office. Together the Network serves the 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Pacific Islands of Guam, American Samoa, Palau, the Marshal Islands, Micronesia, and the Mariana Islands.
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
SAMHSA is the Federal agency charged with improving the quality and availability of prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation services in order to reduce illness, death, disability, and cost to society resulting from substance abuse and mental illnesses. SAMHSA is comprised of three Centers that carry out the agency's mission: The Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS), The Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP), and The Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT).
- Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) leads Federal efforts to treat mental illnesses by promoting mental health and by preventing the development or worsening of mental illness when possible.
- Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) is tasked with improving behavioral health through evidence-based prevention approaches.
- Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) promotes community-based substance abuse treatment and recovery services for individuals and families in every community. CSAT provides national leadership to improve access, reduce barriers, and promote high quality, effective treatment and recovery services.

The purpose of Training Resources is to provide quality training at a reasonable cost for substance abuse and other helping professionals.
